Mmarona Motshegoa

career

Each career performance has honed her skill set as an actress and afforded her the reputation of a professional industry player.

Mmarona’s role as Minx on the popular youth music channel, Channel O, earned the channel high ratings and she delighted and entertained viewers on multiple shows including Oboma, The411, Amplified and Oboma Xpress.

After these successful presenting roles, she embraced a variety of television soapie and drama roles that showcased her diverse talent and adaptability: a feisty lesbian named Keke in Rhythm City; the cut-throat Regina and the guilt-ridden Tshidi in Mzansi Love Big City Love; as well as the sassy gold digger Tumi in the popular kasi drama, Zone 14.

Not shy to break away from the safe and conventional roles, Motshegoa has viewers talking about her current role of a side chick (mistress) named Buhle on Muvhango.

We've seen Motshegoa show her grit as Sandy in Task Force and flex her sexy vindictive muscles as Mbali in Sticks and Stones. More recently, she played the role of Cindy in the second season of GRIT on BET as well as the gothic role of the vampire Paulina on Generations.
